Kiran Acharya is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker from Northern Ireland.
He has worked on several acclaimed films in the UK, including Dispossession which was screened in the Houses of Parliament.
His feature documentary Survival Of The Fastest premiered at Docs Ireland and is screening internationally.
As an editor and producer, he has worked with clients such as Adobe, Google, and universities including Oxford, Cambridge and MIT.
He is also known for collaborations with musicians and composers, moving beyond traditional filmmaking in print, photography and augmented reality.
As a journalist, he specialises in long-form features and interviews.
He is the recipient of a Puttnam Scholarship for creative talent, awarded by Oscar-winning filmmaker Lord David Puttnam.
