Kiran Acharya is a Northern Irish director and writer.

He has worked on several acclaimed documentaries in the UK, including Dispossession which was screened in the Houses of Parliament.

As an editor and producer, he has worked with clients such as Adobe, Google, and universities including Oxford, Cambridge and MIT.

He is also known for collaborations with musicians and composers, combining film, photography and mixed media with augmented reality.

As a journalist, he specialises in long-form features and interviews.

He is the recipient of a Puttnam Scholarship for emerging creative talent, awarded by Oscar-winning filmmaker Lord David Puttnam.
